Our trunk route. HAN–SGN runs close to hourly through the day on the A321, both cabins open, and it is the spine the rest of the network hangs from. Two-and-a-bit hours end to end, the full length of Vietnam beneath the wing.
Tân Sơn Nhất sits unusually close to the centre — a short ride to District 1, its rooftop bars, the Bến Thành market and the river. For most travellers this is the connecting point onward to the Mekong Delta and the southern islands.
